This June, I'll Be a Hero for HeartKids by making a pledge to stand up to congenital heart disease (CHD) in Australia and improving the lives and futures of those affected by this terrible disease - the real heroes are the kids born with CHD every day. My son was born with AVSD a rare heart condition and underwent surgery at 6 weeks old. This is something he will live with forever and now has a permanent pacemaker and will have ongoing surgeries throughout his life. Brady will be 2 on June 16th (the day of be a hero for kids) and will be going in for his 4th heart surgery on the 23rd may this year. This is close to my heart and being a part of this cause means a lot to me so Join me to help HeartKids raise funds to support children with heart disease and their families.
