Anyone that knows me will know that I am a very private and reserved person and will appreciate how out of my comfort zone this is. However this is not about me, this is about the most important person in my life, my heart and soul, my son Ashton and supporting an organisation that has been invaluable throughout our journey. HeartKids support so many families around Australia that have been impacted by congenital or acquired childhood heart disease. I cannot express how grateful I am to have HeartKids.

As I reflect back on the past 17 months especially the last 2 and half months with all the appointments, hospital stays, surgeries, ups and downs, the HeartKids team at PCH have been a pivotal part of our lives. I cannot thank them enough.
