HeartKids is the only national charity dedicated to supporting children, teens and adults affected by congenital heart disease (CHD) all across Australia. 8 babies a day are born with heart disease. That’s 1 in every 100 children. Sadly, 4 young lives are lost each week. There is no known cure.

To support our son, Paddy, and all kids born with CHD, we'll 'Be a Hero for HeartKids'. We're making a pledge to help improve the lives and futures of those affected by this terrible disease - the real heroes are the kids born with CHD every day.

The 17th June is not only Hero 4 HeartKids Day, it's also Paddy's 4th birthday. To mark this special day, we'll be having a superhero party for Paddy and asking all family and friends to dress up as your favourite superhero to lead the fight against CHD.
